Negative of Mount Prospect (Rochester House) Home of Nathaniel Rochester This large, two story house has a covered front porch which covers the front door and two front windows, supported by white pillars. There are two chimneys and 1 dormer window (attic?) set into the roof. A sidewalk leads from the door through the front lawn, down a few steps, to another set of steps, and to a gate set into a wrought iron fence. In front of the fence is a sidewalk, then the road. There are many trees and shrubs in the front yard. |
