-object--Barbour silver plated over brass oval tray; 2 handles -handles applied at either end; large, flat central section of tray is smooth and undecorated -decorated rim rises above flat, interior area; rim is flat and 1.5" W; rim is decorated in Repousse style with rose and chrysanthemum design; edge of rim has etched line detail -handles are wavy in shape (almost like an "M"); they are done in etched scroll decoration -Barbour Silver Co. became part of International Silver Co. -ID#9829/20 -given--1976 |
