Description |
A brass, silver-plated luncheon fork made by the Simeon L. & George H. Rogers Company. It is a 1915 pattern named "Webster" that was designed by Burton D. Myers. The fork is short with a wide, curved head with four tines. The head of the fork has sharp angles at its base. It joins to the handle of the fork at a smooth junction. The handle tapers at the neck, but widens towards the tip, which ends in a rounded point with square edges. The handle of the fork is decorative, with a small diamond at the junction with the neck, which extends as two lines over the length of the handle. Around these lines are a decorative bellflower motif. |
